Montserrat Itineraries

- Hermitages Path: Through this route we will discover the ancient hermitages located on the southern side of Vall Mala stream, built around the Les Gorres rock group, with the famous Gorra Frígia dominating the whole group.
- From the Monastery to Sant Jeroni: Circular route of extraordinary interest up to Montserrat's summit (1,236 m), with spectacular, breathtaking views of the mountain and a good part of Catalonia.
- Degotalls Path: The walk of the Degotalls runs beneath the walls descending from the flats of the Trinity, situated about 200 m above the walk. The continuous trickles of water seeping from the limestone rock are evident along the path, hence the name Degotalls.
- Hermitage Path: 2 hours, 7 km.
- From Monastery to Sant Jeroni: 2 hours and 30 minutes, 7 km.
- Degotalls Path: 50 minutes, 3.2 km.
Rules and recommendations
- Stay on signposted paths and don't take any shortcuts, as they erode the soil.
- Campfires are forbidden in the Park.
- Respect private property and the cultural and historical heritage.
- Do not throw garbage.
- The capture and collection of animals, rocks and plants is not allowed.
- Wild camping is forbidden.
- Make sure you're wearing suitable clothing and footwear for the activity.
