Discover Montserrat 1000 years of spirituality, history and art

Through a guided walk in the surrounding area of the monastery we can discover its history and important artistic heritage.

The Audiovisual Room, by means of the exhibition “Montserrat, in private” allows us learn about Montserrat and its significance. This exhibition uses different and innovative museographic resources as well as the latest generation of audiovisual elements, helping the visitor achieve a deeper and more intense understanding of the mountain, the history and the monastery .

We will visit the Montserrat Museum, which was declared Museum of National Interest in 2006. Its collections cover different subjects: old painting, contemporary painting, archaeology, Byzantine icons and iconography of Our Lady of Montserrat.

Finally, we will finish the tour visiting the Basilica and our lady.
