Notice of strike for 12th December
Due to the general call for strike in Catalonia's public sector for 12th December , you are informed that the rack train and the funiculars of Montserrat will be closed throughout the day,
This strike affects all rack train services between Monistrol and Montserrat and all funiculars services.

Verschluβ der Seilbahn Sant Joan von 2. November 2017. bis 16. März 2018, und Seilbahn Santa Cova wird bis auf Weiteres geschlossen.
Streik-Ankündigung bei der Zahnradbahn: 1 und 6 Januar
Aufgrund des Streiks, den die Vertreter des Zahnradbahnpersonals von Montserrat für den 1. und 6. Januar einberufen haben, teilen wir Ihnen mit, dass die Zahnradbahn den ganzen Tag zirkuliert nicht.
Dieser Streik betrifft den gesamten Zahnradbahnverkehr zwischen Monistrol und Montserrat sowie den der Standseilbahnen. Die Öffnungszeiten der Seilbahn an diesem Wochenende: von 8 bis 18.45 Uhr. Wir bitten, die Unannehmlichkeiten zu entschuldigen.

7th Montserrat’s International Organ Festival
A new edition of this festival, consolidated as one of the appointments that fill the local musical summer. This year’s four concerts will be on June 24th, July 15th, August 12th and September 9th, as always on Saturday, at 9 pm in the Basilica of Santa Maria de Montserrat. They will also be free of charge.
Concerts will be live broadcasted on Montserrat Radio (100.6 FM / www.montserratradio.cat) and Montserrat TV (www.montserratcomunicacio.cat). They can also be followed through TV channels...
Elisa Arimany at Montserrat’s Museum
Montserrat’s Museum presents a retrospective look at the work of sculptor Elisa Arimany (Sant Vicenç de Castellet (Barcelona), 1946). The Strength of an Idea , as it has been titled, is curated by Francesc Miralles, and shows 18 works from the artist’s personal collection.
